Plastmass Group plastics have long been approved by the Ministry of Health and Food in Russia for use in the food industry. In order to expand the area of application of our semi-finished plastic products on the international markets, we had the materials checked for FDA conformity by TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH in Germany. The migration test was carried out according to the "Food and Drug Administration (FDA), 21 CFR § 177" specifications. Our semi-finished plastic products have met these required values for the migration test and can be used in the food industry.* The quality assurance system of the Plastmass Group TD, LLC is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 and serves as an important basis for the constant composition and quality of ZEDEX plastics.
*IMPORTANT: It is the customer’s responsibility to check the suitability of final plastic items made from or with our products for the intended use in the food industry. These include, for example:
Check whether the physical properties of the plastic are suitable for the planned application.
Check whether plastic parts manufactured by the customer meet the prescribed migration or extraction values.
Testing for possible influence of the plastic on the composition and / or the organoleptic properties of food.
