The ZEDEX-324 GF30 modification is a 30% glass fiber reinforced Polyetheretherketone thermoplastic material. Our modified PEEK plastic material is characterized by a higher mechanical strength, hardness and creep resistance than regular PEEK. Glass fibre reinforced Polyetheretherketone plastics are ideal for conditions, which require to withstand long-term static loads at high temperatures. ZEDEX-324 GF30 polymers are highly efficient and reliable in extreme environments. This PEEK modification is able to replace bronze, special steel and cast iron. The reinforced PEEK thermoplastic is not affected by linear expansion and is able to absorb vibrations and shocks.
Thanks to its low specific weight, ZEDEX-324 GF30 (Polyetheretherketone) is ideal for vehicle construction and saves weight. The use of our material also extends the lifetime of parts. The high strength and durability of fiberglass also plays an important role in the safety aspect of components.
Basic characteristics
High operation temperature up to +250°C (up to +310°C at short-term operation)
Excellent resistance to high-energy radiation (gamma and x-radiation)
Flame retardant (V-0 according to UL94) - low flammability and very low levels of smoke when burning
Insulator - fiberglass is not susceptible to electrochemical corrosion
Resistant to hot water and hot steam
